GARUPAN the Movie recorded the 4th highest first-week sales in Japanese anime BD history at 162,000 copies!　First appearance at No.1 on Oricon!

Girls und Panzer the Movie [Special Limited Edition]," released on May 27, will debut at No. 1 overall on the Oricon Weekly BD Ranking dated June 6.



This is the second time in three years that "Galpan" has ranked No. 1 overall on BD since "Girls und Panzer 5" was released in May 2013.With 162,000 copies sold in its first week of release, the BD sales of" OVA Girls und Panzer: 'This is the real Battle of Anzio! released in July 2014, topped both the first-week sales of 36,000 copies and cumulative sales of 58,000 copies, setting a new record for the highest sales of a video work in the series. It also surpassed the 128,000 copies sold in the first week of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion (Limited Edition)" released in April 2014 as the first-week sales of Japanese anime BDs (including theatrical version, TV anime, and OVA), ranking 4th* in the BD ranking since the compilation began in July 2008. The sales of "Girls und Pantsu" were 128,000 in the first week.

The "Girls und Panzer the Movie" has been a big hit in theaters, drawing a cumulative total of 1.2 million viewers and grossing over 2 billion yen.

The first-week sales of "Evangelion: 2.22 YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE." (released in May 2010, 357,000 copies in the first week) and the second-week sales of "Evangelion: Q EVANGELION: 3.33 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO. The School Idol Movie [Special Limited Edition]" (December 2015, 194,000 copies in the first week).
