CLAMP's popular magical girl manga "Card Captor Sakura" starts a new animation project! This year marks the 20th anniversary of the serialization!

A new animation project of "Card Captor Sakura" will start.



Card Captor Sakura" is a magical girls' manga for girls serialized in "Nakayoshi" magazine from 1996 to 2000 by CLAMP, a hit maker known for "Magic Knight Rayearth" and "XXXHOLiC", etc. The TV anime version broadcast on NHK gained further popularity and two movie versions were also produced. This year marks the 20th anniversary of its serialization. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the serialization, and a new serial, "Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card Arc," began in the July issue of "Nakayoshi," which went on sale June 3.


The series still boasts a strong following, and now a new anime project has been decided to start. More details will be announced in a follow-up report.
