AD-Live," produced by voice actor Kenichi Suzumura, is a 90-minute stage play that is entirely improvised by the performers, with the exception of a rough worldview and a few events that have been decided upon. The main attraction of the show is the drama, which is both moving and shocking, and the performers themselves do not know how the story will unfold or what will happen on stage. The "AD-L" is the most popular stage show featuring voice actors in Japan, attracting about 60,000 people for 12 performances in 2015.

In addition to Kenichi Suzumura, Kensho Ono, Hiroki Kaji, Jun Fukuyama, Rie Kugimiya, and Hiro Shimono, who performed last year, AD-Live 2016 will feature Shoutaro Morikubo, who will be making his first appearance in two years, Takuatsu Terashima, Kento Horiuchi, Yuichi Nakamura, Ayaho Takagaki, and Shintaro Asanuma, who will be participating for the first time. A total of 12 performers will appear in the event.
