Summer Anime "orange", 2nd PV released! OP by Yu Takahashi, ED by Kobukuro

The second PV and music information of the TV anime "change," which will start in July, have been announced.

The anime "change" is based on the manga series by Ichigo Takano, which was serialized in Monthly Action magazine. One day, Nao, a second year high school student, receives a letter from herself 10 years in the future. What will happen in the future is suggested in the letter, which describes one thing after another: the suicide of her dear friend, Sho. ...... This sci-fi drama depicts the love and adolescence of high school students who take action to change the future, and the live-action film version released in December 2015 was a blockbuster hit, grossing over 3 billion yen at the box office. The anime version is directed by Hirotsugu Hamasaki of "STEINS;GATE," written by Yuko Kakihara of "Chihayafuru 2," with character design by Nobuteru Yuki of "Apollon on the Hill" and produced by TMS Entertainment and Telecom Animation Film.

The opening theme is "Hikari no Shards" by Yu Takahashi, and the ending theme is "Mirai" by Kobukuro. The second PV featuring these two songs has also been released.

Yu Takahashi
Kaleidoscopes show us infinite beauty from the combination of several colors and shapes.
If you look closely at each one, you will see that some of them are distorted or do not look beautiful alone, but when combined with others, the beauty of a kaleidoscope stands out.
Perhaps we, human beings, too, can see the scenery that we cannot see alone by connecting with others.
This was my impression when I read the work "orange.
I wrote "Hikari no Shards" after trying to find a way to express this feeling in my own way through sound.

Kobukuro
I was inspired by the world view of "orange" and came up with the song "Mirai".
And as I sang it in front of many people at live performances, I was convinced that it would grow to become an important song for Kobukuro as well.
I am very happy that this story will be delivered in various forms, such as comics, movies, and anime.
I hope that this "Mirai" played at the ending of every episode will add the final stroke to the description of the story. I very much look forward to watching the anime!"
