AINEX HDM-40 and HDM-41 mounters, which enable HDD/SSD to be mounted in thin optical drive bays, are now on sale

A conversion mounter that allows 2.5-inch HDD/SSD to be mounted in the thin optical drive bay of notebook PCs and compact PCs is now on sale from AINEX.

The lineup consists oftwo models: the 9.5mm-thick "HDM-40" and the 12.7mm-type "HDM-41.




The "HDM-40" and "HDM-41" are conversion mounters that allow 2.5-inch HDD/SSD with SATA 6Gbps connection to be mounted in the thin optical drive bay of a notebook PC or compact PC, as mentioned above. The main unit has a 4-channel dip switch and is compatible with most notebook PCs.

Included are a dummy bezel (black), 4 pins for SSD/HDD, spacers for SSD/HDD, a tool for dip switches, and a Phillips screwdriver.
