Inexpensive SSD Kingston "UV400" series with Marvell controller to go on sale this weekend, Saturday the 18th.

The UV400 series of inexpensive Kingston SSDs, which use Marvell controllers, are scheduled to go on sale this weekend on Saturday the 18th.

The three models scheduled to go on sale this time are the 480GB capacity model " SUV400S37/480G," the 240GB model " SUV400S37/240G," and the 120GB model " SUV400S37/120G.




The "UV400" series is a low-priced model that uses TLC NAND flash, but features Marvell's 88SS1074 controller that supports simultaneous 4-channel access, and is a 7mm-thick/2.5-inch SSD.

The main specifications are: connection interface is SATA 6Gbps; body size is 69.9 (W) x 100 (D) x 7 (H) mm; and weight is 57 g.

The sequential transfer rate for each model is: read:550 MB/sand write:500 MB/sfor the 480 GB model, read: 550 MB/s and write: 500 MB/s for the 240 GB model, and read:550MB/s read and 490MB/s write for the 240GB model, and 550MB/s read and 350MB/s write for the 120GB model.
