Fall Anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Detective Boys" -" adds Yuichiro Umehara to the cast!　Former leader of the smart Detective Boys

Additional cast members for the TV anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Shonen Tanteidan" -", which will start in October, have been announced.



TRICKSTER" is an original anime based on Edogawa Rampo's novel "Shonen tanteidan" and set in the near future. Set in Tokyo in the year 203X, the film depicts the encounter between Kobayashi and Hanazaki, and the fate of the mysterious detective Akechi Kogoro and the criminal of the century, the Twenty-Faced Monster. Directed by Masahiro Mukai of " Hyperdimension Neptunia," series composition and script by ErikaYoshidaof "TIGER & BUNNY" script ,character design by PEACH-PIT of "Rozen Maiden," and animation production by TMS Entertainment and Shin-Ei Animation.

The characters are played by Daiki Yamashita and Ryota Osaka, and Yuichiro Umehara will play the role of Ryo Inoue, the former leader of the Detective Boys who plays the role of the commanding officer.

1 . Impression of the character and his enthusiasm for his role
My first impression of Ryo Inoue is that he is a smart character. He is basically cool, but I think he is also a person with conflicts and worries.
I would like to play a dependable character as a member of the Detective Boys.

2. Impression of the world of the work such as PV
First of all, I was surprised that the setting is the near future, but I am looking forward to seeing what kind of chemical change will occur between Edogawa Rampo's Detective Boys and the near future.
