The anime popularity poll on the anime portal "Anipota" operated by Akiba Research Institute is currently holding an official voting project, "What's coming next? 　 2016 Summer Anime Expectation Popularity Poll" is currently being held.

In the world of anime, programs are replaced in a single three-month course, and "summer anime" will start in July as a new course. For a list of summer anime, please see "2016 Summer Anime" here, but this season is also packed with topical and noteworthy works and sequels to popular series.

The voting project itself has already started on June 13, and has already gathered about 900 votes, with the top vote-getters as of June 17 being "Love Live! Sunshine! Sunshine!", "Rewrite", a mystery anime based on the well-known PC game "key", and "Berserk", a masterpiece about a legendary hero finally coming to the terrestrial TV market, etc. Voting is open until June 27.
