Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" has started its annual "Anime Review Submission Campaign. This year's target works are spring anime of 2016 (including theatrical screenings and continuing works that will end this season).



Although every year major titles are named in the Spring Cool Anime, in the " 2016 Spring Anime Competitiveness Popularity Poll " held from April 25 to May 18, dark horse works such as the original anime "Chromium Clo" and "Fufuin Guich," which depicts daily life in the countryside, appeared. Also, "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu" based on a light novel, "Bak-ON! and other works seemed to draw a lot of attention to the articles. As for anime movies, the theater version of "Detective Conan: Nightmare in the Blackest Nightmare," released on April 16, was a big hit.
