Solder-kun
An anime adaptation of Satsuki Yoshino's manga serialized in "Monthly Shonen Gangan". It is a spin-off of the popular heartwarming comedy "Barakamon" set on an island in western Japan, and follows the high school days of Seishu Handa, a calligrapher who is the main character of "Barakamon.
Handa Kiyoshi, a.k.a. Handa Seishu, has developed his talent as a calligrapher while still in high school, and is revered as a solitary charismatic figure within the school. However, he mistakenly believes that he is hated by all the students in the school, and his negative thinking explodes at every opportunity! The differences between the self-deprecating Handa and those around him who like him are somewhat amusing and make us want to cheer for him. The story can stand on its own as a stand-alone work, so you don't need to know "Barakamon" to enjoy it.

■This art club has a problem!
An anime adaptation of a manga serialized in "Dengeki Maou" by Imigimuru. Set in a junior high school art club, the story revolves around Uchimaki, a talented artist who is only interested in drawing "two-dimensional brides," Usami, a serious club member who has a crush on him, the head of the club who is always sleeping around, and a free-spirited foreigner named Colette, all of whom are involved in club activities.

One of the charms of the story is the rich individuality of the characters. The problem children have a mischievous sense of humor that makes you giggle at their problematic behavior, and Mr. Usami, who struggles alone, is healthy and cute. Rather than being overly dramatic, the story comically depicts the daily life of a typical student, and romantic elements between Uchimaki and Usami are sprinkled throughout the story. The frustration that only an adolescent romantic comedy can bring is also a highlight.

Saiki Kusuo no Ψ難
An anime adaptation of Shuichi Aso's manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The main character is Saiki Kusuo, a high school boy who lives his life hiding the fact that he has supernatural powers. The characters are all quirky, from the students to Kusuo's parents, including Riki Kudo, who calls Kusuo "buddy" but is annoyed with him, and Shun Kaito, who everyone recognizes as having chunibyo. The bold setting and development of the story can be said to be the royal road to gag works for boys.
After the announcement of the anime adaptation, the focus of attention was on the superb cast, including Hiroshi Kamiya as Kusuo and Daisuke Ono as Kindo. Their haughty performances and combinations are also something to look forward to. The double broadcast in the morning and late at night provides many chances to watch the show.

■Hatsukoi Monster

An anime adaptation of Akira Hiyoshimaru's manga serialized in "ARIA". Nikaido Natsuho, a young lady in her first year of high school , falls in love at first sight with a handsome guy who not only lives in the same boarding house ...... but is also a fifth grader , Kanade Takahashi! This is a unique boarding house love comedy with a huge impact from the key visual.
Kanade is 173 cm tall but has a mental age of less than 5th grade, but the gap between her and the other students is enhanced by the beautiful voice of Takahiro Sakurai. In addition, the characters are all strong, including a silly elementary school boy and the residents of the boarding house, all of whom have their own unique personalities. This work is a perfect combination of a love story and high-tension gags, and the anime may show even more chemical reactions.
