Up-and-coming animator group production's animated feature film "Typhoon Norda" to be broadcast uncut on Fuji Television on Thursday, July 7!

The theatrical animation "Typhoon Norda," produced by "Studio Colorido," which was released for a limited time in June 2015 and attracted much attention, will be broadcast on Fuji Television Network for the first time on July 7, 2016 (Thursday) at 24:55 AM, uncut in its entirety, on terrestrial television.

Typhoon Norda" is an original animation work produced by "Studio Colorido" (established in 2011), a production company that brings together young creators mainly in their 20s, including 26-year-old Yuyasu Ishida, who won numerous awards including the Excellence Award at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival for his short animation "Fumiko's Confession". It is a story of friendship between boys set in a junior high school on a remote island on the day before a cultural festival. It is also the directorial debut work of Yojiro Arai, 26, who has worked as an animator for Studio Ghibli on such films as "The Borrower Arrietty," "From Up on Poppy Hill," and "The Wind Rises. This work won Arai the honor of receiving the New Director's Award in the Animation Division at the 19th Japan Media Arts Festival.

The other staff members are also outstanding. The music is by Masashi Hamauzu of the "Final Fantasy" series, and the theme song is by Galilee, who wrote the opening theme for "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.
