A TV anime adaptation of the comic "Masamune-kun's Revenge" serialized in "Monthly ComicREX" (published by Ichijinsha) has been decided.

Masamune-kun no Revenge" is a romantic comedy work by Hazuki Takeoka (original story) and Tiv (manga), serialized in "Monthly ComicREX". It is a popular work that has already been published in book form in volumes 1 through 7. The main character is Masamune Makabe, a fat, dull boy who was severely rejected eight years ago by a beautiful girl, Princess Aki Adagaki, who called him a "pig's foot. The story begins when he returns home after losing a lot of weight, changing his last name, and transforming into a handsome man.
