Re: Zero kara Hajimete Isekai Seikatsu" is an anime work based on a light novel by Tatsuhei Nagatsuki. It is an otherworldly fantasy that begins with an ordinary high school student who wanders into another world on his way home from a convenience store and ends up helping a girl find what she is looking for as a thank-you for saving him in the other world. Directed by Masahiro Watanabe, series composition by Masahiro Yokoya, character design and chief animation director by Kyuta Sakai, and animation production by WHITE FOX.

This work was ranked 9th in the "2016 Spring Anime Expectations Popularity Poll" conducted by Anipota prior to the start of broadcast, but rose to 5th in the "2016 Spring Anime Strength Popularity Poll" conducted after the start of broadcast. It has been gradually gaining popularity towards the latter half of the season, and currently has a high rating of 4.75 (as of June 24, 2016) on Anipota's user evaluation review, making it a dark horse in this season's anime. Incidentally, the ED theme "STYX HELIX/MYTH & ROID" was also ranked 4th in the "ED Theme Popularity Poll [2016 Spring Anime]". The work has been gaining popularity in this way, and as the 13th and final episode, "Self-proclaimed Knight Natsuki Subaru," will be aired sequentially starting this weekend, a review of episodes 1 through 10 will be distributed in one go.

The free distribution period will last for two days from June 26 (Sun.) to 27 (Mon.), and will be broadcast on "GYAO! Episode 11 will also be distributed for free for one week from June 25 (Sat.). For more details, please check the official GYAO!
