Not only the passionate singing, but also chelly's realistic voice acting. EGOIST live performance with a lot of excitement!

EGOIST's live tour has been held in conjunction with the release of "KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS," the opening theme song for the TV anime "KABANERI OF THE KOUTETSUJOU NO KABANERI. EGOIST Greeting Tour 2016:side-B "UNVEILed of KABANERI"" will be held in Tokyo and Osaka in June. In this issue, we report on the live performance at Zepp Tokyo on June 18 in detail!

EGOIST, a fictional artist produced by ryo (supercell), originally appeared in the TV anime "Guilty Crown". The two characters, YUZURIHA Inori and chelly, who actually sings, are linked together by motion capture. Inori Inori and chelly, the actual vocalist, are linked together by motion capture. Inori's figure is projected behind a screen on the stage, moving in the same way as chelly's singing. The audience can enjoy the live singing voice and MC of chelly as well as the action of Inori, which is the main feature of the show.

The live performance started with "Extra terrestrial Biological Entities," the title track of the first album. The third song, the slow "Door," calmed the audience down. The first three songs all had a feminine softness to them.

The sixth song, "Kanadenaru," featured a dramatic image of a big moon floating behind Inori, which eventually turned red. The penlights that colored the venue were also lit up. The penlights in the venue changed color from blue to red. The audience also played a part in the production. Two heavy songs, "Fallen" and "Reloaded," followed, and the bright red penlights were shaken violently.

On May 4, the first day of their live tour, also at Zepp Tokyo, chelly welcomed Aimer as a guest and sang "ninelie," the ending theme of "Koteijo no Kabaneri" together. This time, they would like to hold an open recording of their fan club radio "chelly without a name, which is my idea" at this event.
This time we are inviting even more special guests. They are Yu Hatanaka, who plays Ikoma, the main character of "Kabaneri the Iron Castle," and Ayaka Sengi, who plays Mumyo, the heroine of "Kabaneri the Iron Castle.
The audience cheered loudly at this surprise. The two voice actors appeared on stage wearing EGOIST tour T-shirts.

What did you feel when you were chosen to be the voice actors for "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle? and "What do you think of each character? and "What was the atmosphere like at the recording studio? and "What was the most memorable scene? The two responded to chelly's questions with pleasant talk.

The next corner was a live postrecording session, in which the two actually performed Ikoma's scene, Mumyo's scene, and Ikoma & Mumyo's scene, which were chosen by chelly, on stage. Moreover, with the cooperation of the anime side, the live recording was accompanied by actual anime footage. The two could not hide their nervousness as it was their first experience of live postrecording on stage, but of course they performed perfectly. The audience gasped at Ikoma's exclamations and Mumyo's dainty lines as they unfolded before their eyes.

I have one more request: I would like to ask for Ikoma's cool line at the beginning of the TV edit of the opening song "KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS. I was wondering if we could do that live," said chelly, as Ikoma and Mumyo joined the special "Neither. We are Kabaneri! and sang "KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS".

After the song, Hatanaka and Sengoku took the stage again. Hatanaka sang the first line, "Are you a human or a kabane? was performed by chelly herself. The two voice actors praised her performance, saying, "It's amazing, isn't it? The two guests left the stage to loud applause. The public recording of "Boku Chelly" ended on a high note.

From there, the live performance began the second half. It's All About You," "Too Late," "elbadaernU," and "1.4.2" were followed by more up-tempo songs, and the audience responded to the calls and responses in unison. After a short MC, the band went on to two of EGOIST's most popular songs, "Namae no Nai Kaibutsu" and "The Everlasting Guilty Crown". The live reached its climax with the ballad "All Alone With You," and the main part of the live came to an end.

Inori changed into a tour T-shirt and started the encore with a fashionable pop song "LoveStruck". After a gift drawing corner, they sang "Ame, Kimi wo Otakeru", "Lovely Icecream Princess Sweetie", and "Kimisorakiseki".

The surprise appearance of the voice actors was a nice surprise, but what impressed me the most was the unique presence of chelly and Inori, who both put their passion into their songs, and their MC's were very flat. In their calm voices, they would ask the audience, "Are you ready to get excited yet? and the audience responded with loud cheers. It seemed as if everyone there cared about the fictional existence of EGOIST and brought it into the real world of the live performance.
What was interesting was the scene where CHELLY was drinking water, and of course, the bottle was in Inori's hand on the screen at that moment. Drinking water is something that is not necessary in the virtual world, and it made me think that EGOIST is "live" after all.

Before singing the last song, "Kimisoraki Seki," chelly said to the audience, "We will see each other again," as if to appease the audience's reluctance to end the live. This kindness and unenthusiasticness may be the essence of chelly.

EGOIST is a fictional artist born from the TV anime "Guilty Crown," produced by ryo (supercell) and vocalized by chelly, a songstress chosen from over 2,000 applicants. After the broadcast of "Guilty Crown" ended, she stepped out of the world of the work and sang the theme songs for the TV anime "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass" and the theatrical films "Empire of the Corpse", "Slaughterhouse", and "Harmony". His latest single is "KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS" (Sony Music Records), the OP of the TV anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle".
