The SHINE5 series of RGB keyboards with high-brightness LEDs and CHERRY MX switches are now available from Ducky Channel!

DuckyChannel is now offering the SHINE5, a USB-connected keyboard with Cherry MX RGB mechanical switches.

The lineup consists of four models: the black-axis model DKSH1508ST-AJNADAAT1, the brown-axis model DKSH1508ST-BJNADAAT1, the red-axis model DKSH1508ST-RJNADAAT1, and the blue-axis model DKSH1508ST-CJNADAAT1.

The SHINE5 series USB keyboards feature Cherry MX RGB mechanical key switches, which allow users to flexibly customize the way the backlight glows, and SMD-type LEDs that are brighter than conventional LEDs.

The main body consists of two pieces: a board that serves as the keyboard's backbone and a board on which SMD-type RGB LEDs are mounted. According to Arcite, the distributor, "Compared to mounting everything on a single board, larger and brighter RGB LEDs can be mounted, enabling brighter and more sparkling LED functions.

Two emission modes are available: "single color LED mode," which emits light in the desired color, and " RGB LED blend mode, " which emits light by combining RGB colors.Both modesoffer a variety of light emission patterns, such as"Wave," which emits light while undulating like a wave, " Ripple," in which light flows from the pressed key like a ripple, and "Aurora, " in which a line of light flows on both sides of the pressed key.

I n addition, each key has a "two-color molded keycap," in which the letters through which the LED backlight penetrates are part of the keycap resin, so there is no risk of wear and tear on the top surface of the keycap or the letters, and the keycaps are thicker than standard keycaps to provide a solid keystroke feel. The key layout is Japanese JIS (no kana) 108 + 4 keys with a key pitch of 19 mm .
