Little Witch Academia" TV anime series to be produced! TRIGGER's latest work

Production of a TV series from the anime "Little Witch Academia" has been announced.



Little Witch Academia" is an original short animation released as a part of "Anime Mirai 2013," a project to foster young animators by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and fans who saw the work uploaded on YouTube expressed their desire for a sequel. The goal of $150,000 was reached in just six hours. In the end, a total of $625,518 (about 74 million yen) was raised in one month, and the sequel, "Little Witch Academia: Magic Parade," was shown for two weeks only in October 2015. It was produced by TRIGGER and directed by Yoh Yoshinari.


Now, TRIGGER has decided to produce a TV anime series as its latest work. More details, including the broadcast schedule, will follow.
