The second part of the anime film "Kizumonogatari" will be released on August 19. Additional cast members and the trailer have been released.



The "Kizumonogatari" is a prequel to "Bakemonogatari" and the starting point of the "Monogatari" series, based on a strange novel by Ishin Nishio. The first part, "I Iron-Blooded Arc," is a trilogy of films named after the catchphrase of the key character, the vampire Kiss Shot Acerola Orion Heart Under Blade (CV: Maaya Sakamoto). The first part , "I: Iron Blood Arc," was released on January 8 and grossed over 800 million yen at the box office. General director is Akiyuki Shinbo, directed by Tatsuya Oishi, character design by Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka, music by Satoru Kamizaki, and animation production by Shaft.


The release date for "Kizumonogatari〈II Hot Blood Arc〉" has been set for August 19. Due to the huge success of the first part, the number of theaters will be expanded to 117.
