Youth baseball anime "Battery" to tie-up with First Kitchen! Original design boxed potatoes are now available!

A tie-up with Fast Kitchen has been announced for the TV anime "Battery," which will start in July.



Battery" is an anime based on a novel by Atsuko Asano. The original work, a bestseller with a total of 10 million copies in print, is a coming-of-age baseball drama about an arrogant pitcher overflowing with talent and confidence and a catcher who becomes attracted to him. To mark the 20th anniversary of its publication, a TV anime adaptation has been decided for Fuji Television's "Noitamina" slot. The director and screenplay are by Tomomitsu Mochizuki of "Umi ga Kikoeru," the original character design is by Takako Shimura, a manga artist well known for "Hobo Son," and the animation character design and chief animation director is by Eiko Kusama of "Hi-Q! Animation Character Design and Chief Animation Director is Eiko Kusama, Animation Character Design and Chief Animation Director is HIQ!


The tie-up with First Kitchen, which will run from July 1 to July 31, will feature a tray mat with the key visual on it. In addition, a limited number of "Boxed Potatoes" (450 yen) will be sold in a "Battery" original design box, and those who order them will receive an original postcard on a first-come, first-served basis.
