YAMUSUME PEDAL" Tie-up with Chiba Prefecture, Sohoku High School's hometown! Original Anime: 6 episodes distributed!

A tie-up with Chiba Prefecture has been announced for the cycling anime "Yowamushi Pedal.



The anime "Yowamushi Pedal" is based on the manga series by Wataru Watanabe, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. The second season of the TV anime "YAMUSUSHI PEDAL GRANDE ROAD" aired from October 2014 to March 2015, and the first feature film "YAMUSHI PEDAL THE MOVIE" was released in August 2015. YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE" was also a big hit. The spin-off "YAMUSUME PEDAL SPARE BIKE" was screened in theaters in September 2016, followed by the third season of the TV series, which will begin in January 2017.


This time, a tie-up with Chiba Prefecture, home of the Sohoku High School Cycling Club, to which the main character Onoda Sakamichi belongs, has been decided: from July 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, a bicycle safe use campaign "Chiba Pedal - Learn bicycle traffic safety with Weak Pedal" will be held. On the campaign's special website, all six episodes of the original anime containing information on safe bicycle use will be available, as well as a giveaway of limited-edition collaborative goods. In addition, campaign commercials will be shown at QVC Marine Field, Fukuda Denshi Arena, and Messe Vision (Makuhari Messe), and Chiba Prefecture's PR mascot character "Chibakun" will appear in the original animation, collaboration goods, and commercials.
