TV anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" to be shown in theaters! Special ending movie is now on view!

The TV anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" has announced the theatrical screening of a compilation of the series.



Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" is a new original anime for Fuji Television's "Noitamina" slot. Set in the island nation of Hinomoto, where steam engines have developed, this steampunk action film depicts boys and girls boarding the armored steam locomotive "Kouetsujo" to fight against the "Kabaneri," living corpses with hearts of steel.Directed by Tetsuro Araki of "Shinkage no Kyojin,"series composition byIchiro Okochi of "Code Geass,"original character design byHaruhiko Mikimoto of "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross," and animation production by WIT STUDIO.


A special ending movie is currently being shown on the official website from immediately after the last episode airs until July 15, during which time the theatrical screening of the compilation was announced. The first part will be shown on December 31, 2016, and the second part will be shown on January 7, 2017, for a limited two-week nationwide roadshow.
