Akiba's first "Kaku-uchi" liquor store "Tora Ana NOMOO" opens on July 1! 3~4F of the former Wakamatsu Tsusho Bldg.

The "Kaku-uchi" liquor shop "Toranoana NOMOO" (Toranoana Nomoo) will openon Friday, July 1, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. The restaurant willbe located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the former Wakamatsu Dori Shoji Building, in front of Exit 1 of Suehirocho Station on the Ginza Line .

It will be located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the former Wakamatsu Tsusho Building along Chuo-dori Avenue, in front of Exit 1 of Suehirocho Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line.




Toranoana NOMOO is a "kaku-uchi" liquor store run by Hirotaka Yoshida, founder of the doujin store Toranoana, as his own business.

Kakuuchi" means "to drink sake in a liquor storefront," and according to the store, " in Japan, there have been spaces in liquor stores where customers can drink standing up for a long time, and they are called "kakuuchi" because people drink from a square-shaped sake bottle. Tora (No) Ana NOMOO is a "sake shop where you can drink," specializing in such "kaku-uchi.

The store consists of two floors: the third floor where an all-you-can-drink sake menu ( unlimited time: 3,000 yen, 45 minutes: 1,500 yen) and single-serving Japanese local beer are sold, and the fourth floor where an all-you-can-drink wine menu (unlimited time: 3,000 yen, 45 minutes: 1,500 yen) and single-serving foreign beer are sold. The restaurant offers only simple snacks, and customers are free to bring their own food.


In addition, a unique "shopkeeper for a day" system is available, allowing anyone to hold an event by applying on the official website.
