Autumn Anime "TRICKSTER -From Edogawa Rampo's "Detective Boys"-", GACKT as the Monster Twenty Menso!

GACKT will appear in the TV anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Shonen Tanteidan" -"which will start in October.



TRICKSTER" is an original anime based on Edogawa Rampo's novel "Detective Boys" and set in the near future. Set in Tokyo in the year 203X, the film depicts the encounter between Kobayashi and Hanazaki, and the fate of the mysterious detective Akechi Kogoro and the criminal of the century, the Twenty-Faced Monster.Directed byMasahiro Mukai of"Hyperdimension Neptunia," series composition and script by ErikaYoshidaof "TIGER & BUNNY" script ,character design by PEACH-PIT of "Rozen Maiden," and animation production by TMS Entertainment and Shin-Ei Animation.

Artist GACKT has been chosen to play the role of the monster Twenty Faces. The character can disguise himself as a young man, an old man, or even a woman, and is said to be an enemy of the Detective Boys. The second PV featuring the opening theme "Kimi dake no Boku de Boku de Iru" by GACKT has also been released.

My name is GACKT .
I will be voicing "Kaijin Nijumenso" as a voice actor in the anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Shonen Tanteidan" -" which will start in October on MX, YTV and BS11. I will also be using the opening theme song "Kimi Dake no Boku de Boku de Iru" (from the album "LAST MOON").
The original story, "The Detective Boys" by Edogawa Rampo, is set in Tokyo in the near future, so I wondered what would happen to the Kobayashi boy? What kind of boy is his partner, the Hanasaki boy? What kind of action will the detective Akechi Kogoro play? And what about the "Twenty Faces of the Monster" that I will be playing? I am very much looking forward to this work. I look forward to working with you on both "TRICKSTER" and "Kimi no Moku de Boku de Toku Kara de Iru".
