TV anime "Blue Exorcist" to broadcast new series in 2017!　Anime adaptation of the original popular episode "Kyoto Arc

Production of a new series from the TV anime "Blue Exorcist" has been announced.



Blue Exorcist" is an anime work based on Kazue Kato's manga serialized in JUMP SQUARE. This dark fantasy depicts the battle between demons and humans, centering on the brothers Rin, who is a child of Satan but decides to become an exorcist, and Yukio, who is an exorcist. The total number of copies of the original comics has exceeded 15 million.

A new TV anime series, "Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Impuro-ou-hen," will be broadcast in 2017. It will be a complete anime adaptation of the Kyoto Arc of the original popular episodes. Directed by Koichi Hatsumi of " Dead Man Wonderland," series composition by Toshiya Ohno of "Everything Becomes F," character design and chief animation director by Keigo Sasaki, music by Hiroyuki Sawano/Kohta Yamamoto, and production by A-1 Pictures. The main cast remains unchanged.
