Buffalo has released the WHR-1166DHP3, an inexpensive wireless LAN router that supports IEEE802.11ac connectivity.




The WHR-1166DHP3 is a wireless LAN router that supports IEEE802.11ac connectivity, but with only 4 x 100BASE-TX wired ports on the LAN side, and a low price of around 6,000 yen.

It isalso equipped with a "beamforming" function that delivers a stable signal by automatically tracking compatible terminals moving around the room, and adedicated"QRsetup" application forAndroid/iOSis also available, enabling initial Internet setup using only a smartphone/tablet.


Main specifications include: IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless LAN standards, 4 wired LAN ports (10/100BASE-TX compatible), a main unit size of 55 (W) x 131 (D) x 159 (H) mm, and a weight of approximately 265 g.
