Wake Up, Girls!" held a live concert at Kotodai Park in Sendai!　The holy place where the debut live was held in the last scene

Wake Up, Girls!" has announced its appearance at the "KHB Tanabata Festa" to be held at Kotodai Park in Sendai.



Wake Up, Girls!" is an original anime created by Hiroshi Yamamoto (director of "Lucky Star"), Doko Waita (screenplay and composition), and Satoru Kamizaki (MONACA) (music). It is an ensemble coming-of-age drama depicting the struggles of seven girls in Sendai who aspire to become idols, with the TV anime and theater production starting simultaneously in January 2014; a spin-off production, "Uwake Up, Girls! / to be released in December.The voice actor unit of the same name consisting of themaincast is also actively working as artists, and their third live tour "Here and There, but Sorry! will start on July 17.

This time, the live concert will be held on August 6 at Kotodai Park in Sendai, the holy land of the group. Kotodai Park is where the seven members performed their debut live in the last scene, and the event was made possible by their participation in the "KHB Tanabata Festa" held there during the "Sendai Tanabata Festival". The next day, August 7, the live tour will be held in Sendai.

It was also learned that the second "Wake Up, Girls!"character song will be released onSeptember28. This is due to their victory in a showdown event against theirrival team "I-1club" held in 2015. The song will be performed for the first time on the live tour, and Ms. Miu Takagi, who has already recorded the new song "It's amazing show time☆,"said, "I'm nervous to sing the character song on the live tour because I'll be the first one to sing it, but I'll practice a lot so that I can sing it in a bright and cute way like Miyu-chan!I will practice a lot so that I can sing in a bright and cute way like Miyu-chan!
