HTC Vive, a VR headset from HTC that allows users to move freely within a virtual space!

Over-the-counter sales of HTC Vive, a VR headset manufactured by HTC, have started at various stores in Akiba.

The five stores selling the headset are DOSPALA VR Paradise (DOSPALA Akihabara Main Store 5F), Tsukumo PC Main Store, Tsukumo eX. PC Center, Tsukumo DOS/V PC Center, and LEVEL∞HUB.




HTC Vive is a VR headset jointly developed by HTC and Valve, which operates the PC game download sales platform Steam.

The product consists of a head-mounted display and two wireless controllers, as well as two base stations that track the position of the headset and controllers, allowing users to freely walk around within a virtual space (room scale is within 5 m diagonal).

The main specifications of the head-mounted display are an AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,200 pixels (1,080 x 1,200 pixels per side), a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a viewing angle of 110 degrees.

ome stores , such as Dospara VR Paradise and LEVEL∞HUB, are also offering hands-on sessions, and the special HTC Vive website allows users to make reservations for hands-on sessions online.
