Idol Memories" is an original anime produced by Happy Elements Asia Pacific, a group company of Happy Elements, which develops and operates smartphone games such as "Ansamburu Stars! Set in the near future, where idol activities in virtual space have become more active, the film depicts two idol units as they grow through friendly competition.

Directed by Kikuchi Katsuya, who makes his directorial debut with this film, and produced by Seven Arcs Pictures. The cast consists of Moe Toyoda as Lin Vivi, an honest and cheerful mood maker; Rika Hayase as Hattori Nagi, a natural character despite her older sisterly appearance ; Yu Kimura as Hayakawa Shinzakura, full of idol-like cuteness; Maayu Sagara as Kajiwara Mirai, a serious and firm comedian; and Raro as a lazy girl who is not good at hard work. Ruriko Aoki plays Rara Yucho, a lazy girl who is not good at hard work, and Riko Obara plays the shy Nanami Hoshi. This work is said to be a "hybrid anime" that will be broadcast in conjunction with a program featuring the cast.
