The ASUS ROG STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING GeForce GTX 1070 video card with an original cooler is now on sale.

The ROG STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING is a GeForce GTX 1070 video card equipped with the original "DirectCU III" quasi-fanless cooler.

TheDirectCU III is aquasi-fanless design featuring 5 heat pipes (2 x 10mm, 2 x 8mm, and 1 x 6mm) that are directly attached to the GPU and a "Wing Blade Zero Noise Fan" that increases air pressure by bending the tips of the fan blades, and a large triple fan with 220% more surface area compared to the reference fan. The fan consists of large heat dissipating fins with a surface area 220% larger than the reference model. Compared to the reference model, cooling performance has been improved by 30% and quietness by 3 times (according to the company).
