Two Gundam series have decided on their broadcast dates!　Build Fighters Try: Island Wars" in August, and the second season of "Iron-Blooded Orphans" in October!

On Tuesday, July 12, 2016, Bandai held a product briefing for its new Gundam series. During the event, the broadcast start dates for two new anime titles were revealed.

The first is "Gundam Build Fighters Tri: Island Wars. This is a special program of "Gundam Build Fighters Try," a Gunpla-themed anime work that aired from October 2014 to April 2015 and was well received. The special program, "Gundam Build Fighters Try Summer Vacation Special - You're a Build Fighter, Too! ～will be broadcast on August 21 (Sun.) from 16:00 on TV Tokyo, together with a special program in which star-studded actors will try their hand at customizing Gunpla.

The other "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (2nd season)" is a sequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (1st season)," which aired from October 2015 to March 2016. The boys have found their respective goals and decided to live life to the fullest. On the other hand, the world has become unstable and the vortex of war is spreading. The boys and the "Gundam" fighting to survive are portrayed with the same realistic human drama and intensified battle scenes as in the first season. The series will begin airing on October 2 in the 17:00 Sunday slot on the MBS/TBS network.

The key visuals for these two works, as well as the latest images of mobile suits, mobile workers, and characters, have also been unveiled.

In conjunction with the broadcast of the new anime, the latest Gunpla products will also be released one after another. From "Gundam Build Fighters Try: Island Wars," the "HGBF 1/144 Scale Scramble Gundam" (2,376 yen, tax included) will go on sale on September 10 (Sat), the "HGBF 1/144 Scale Z Z II" (2,808 yen, tax included) on August 6 (Sat), and the "HGBC 1/144 Scale Z Z II" (2,808 yen, tax included) on August 7 (Sat). The "HGBC 1/144 Scale Lightning BWS Mk-III" (848 yen including tax) will be released on September 10 (Sat).

From "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (2nd season)," "HG 1/144 Scale Gundam Barbatsorps" (1,008 yen including tax) will be released on October 1 (Sat), and "HG 1/144 Scale MS Option Set 5 & Tekkadan Mobile Worker" (648 yen including tax), which can be used as an option, will be released in October.
