i☆Ris reports on their 4th anniversary event!　Rare anime song covers and storytelling!

An event report from the voice-over idol unit "i☆Ris" has arrived.



i☆Ris is a popular female unit formed by six members who passed the "1st Animation Song Vocal Audition" jointly held by Avex Group and 81 Produce in July 2012.Inaddition to energetically performing at live shows and events, they are expanding their activities as idols and voice actors, with all members playing major roles in the TV anime "Pripara.

This time, they held their4thanniversary event on July 9 at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater. The group attracted fans with a diverse set list that included songs performed for the first time, covers of popular anime songs, and solo performances. Here is the report.

i☆Ris, a hybrid unit of voice actors and idols, held its 4th anniversary event at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater on Saturday, July 9.
The rain had been continuing due to a typhoon that had been approaching the day before, but to the surprise of the audience, the rain stopped when the show started, and the live started in fine weather!

The rain stopped at the beginning of the show, and the show started on a bright sunny day! The members appeared on stage one by one in their "Ready Smile!

The temperature was a little chilly, but the members found themselves sweating. The color of the members' collar was decorated with their colors, and a letter symbolizing each member was printed on the back of the coat, giving it a more "summer" and "festival" feel!
Then, they performed three special cover songs in a row!
The first was "Mo tteke! Sailor Fuku" had everyone on stage with pom-poms in hand, and "Saikyou Pare Parade" had the audience clapping their hands in unison, while "We Are! The entire audience was fist-pumping and cheering for the "We Are!

After the excitement, Yuki Wakai performed two ballads on the piano, which had been well received at last year's event. Wakai has been playing the piano since she was four years old, and her performance was excellent.
She sang "Yumenotsubasa" and "Defy the fate" softly and powerfully in perfect harmony. i☆Ris showed us their high singing ability and quality.
After the performance, Yamakita and Serizawa said, "Yuki, we were so nervous all morning that we forgot to eat. Thank you for playing! and the audience burst into applause.
Hearing this, Wakai's nervousness melted away and she began to shed tears.
After the midpoint of the live, they performed "GENSHOKYOU WONDERLAND". At the end of the song, Miyu Kubota expressed her gratitude for the 4th anniversary of the formation of i☆Ris by saying "Please take care of 5-year-old i☆Ris from today onward! (*It was a mistake that he is 4 years old from today.) The members gave him a total shove, and it was quite a rare sight to see Kubota falling on the floor in embarrassment.
After that, Kubota was not done making a fuss yet! They performed "§Rainbow", "Make it!", "Miracle☆Paradise" and "color". The audience was also calling out to each other, and the main event ended with the customary "Bye Chu Chu~v".
The encore included 3 songs including the 13th single "Re:Call" to be released on August 3, a series of super-rare songs, and "Re:Call", which was followed by "Re:Call", the second single "Re:Call", and "Re:Call", the third single "Re:Call".
There were tears and natural (?) moments. The special live with tears and natural (?) songs was closed with "Love Chu Chu~v" with big thanks and love from i☆Ris.

This summer, i☆Ris will perform at "Tokyo Idol Festival" and "Animelo Summer Live 2016" and release their 13th single "Re:Call" on August 3. In the fall, they will finally perform at "Nippon Budokan" to celebrate the 4th anniversary of their debut, and we can surely expect an even more special live performance, so be sure to check it out!
