An official interview with Ayane Sakura, who plays Rena, has arrived from the TV anime "Regalia The Three Sacred Stars" currently airing.



The original anime "Regalia The Three Sacred Stars" is a beautiful girl x mecha action work by Actus, the creators of "Girls und Panzer". The main characters are sisters Yui and Rena, who lead a peaceful life, and the work depicts their destiny and powerful battles over the giant humanoid mecha "Regalia".Directed by Susumu Tosaka of "IS <Infinite Stratos> 2",series composition by Keigo Koyanagi of "GO! GO! 575",character design by QP:flapper of the game "Girl Friend (Kari)", and character design by Kimihaku Nishio of "Moetan".

───Please tell us about the character you are playing.

Rena is a girl who doesn't show much emotion. I think she is more inflexible and stubborn than Yui. Also, Rena is Yui's big sister, but I think her first visual impression is that she looks like a younger sister. I can't say too much about that because it will have a lot to do with what happens next, but I think the key point of the work is probably hidden in the discomfort you all feel with Rena.

─ ─ While playing Rena, were there any scenes or lines that made you feel like a big sister?

Looking at the surface of her lines, she seems very much like a big sister, but looking at her actions, I get the impression that she is very young. She tries to act like a big sister, but her actions don't match. In fact, I think Rena is more emotional than Yui. I think that is the key to the story.

─ You and Hondo-san, who plays Yui, interact with each other a lot, how do you feel about playing the role?

Yui and Rena are not like sisters. They are more than just "close sisters."...... They are like lovers who have been in love with each other for a long time. The most important thing to remember is that you can't be too careful about what you say or do. But with these two, I didn't see much of that, and I don't think it's the distance between sisters.

─ ─ Do you have a message for the fans who are looking forward to the future?

When I first saw the PV, I remember I was really attracted to the sparkle in Rena and Yui's beautiful eyes. Since this is an original work, I am anxious about not knowing what will happen next, and I feel a lot of pressure to "voice these beautiful girls," but I share the excitement that you felt when you saw the video. I am doing my best to enjoy the film so that the excitement will not be interrupted, and I hope that you will be able to see it through to the end.
