Summer Anime "Cheer Boys! will be adapted to the stage!　Popular young actors will take on the challenge of cheerleading in earnest!

A stage adaptation of thecurrently broadcast TV anime"Cheer Boys! a stage adaptation has been announced.



Cheerleader Boys! is an anime work based on a novel by Ryo Asai, the author of "Kirishima, Bukkatsu Yameratte yo" which has also been made into a live-action movie. The film depicts the struggles of a group of college students who are not quite sure what to do with their youth in cheerleading. Directed by Ai Yoshimura of "After all, my adolescent romantic comedy is wrong. series composition by Reiko Yoshida, character design by Hiroyuki Asada of "Tegamibachi" fame, character design by Hito Tsuruta of "World Trigger" fame, and animation production by Brain's Base.

This is the first time the show will be adapted for the stage. The stage production will feature fresh faces, including Reiki Honda, who played Eiji Kikumaru, the 8th leader of Aogaku in the 3rd season of the musical "The Prince of Tennis," Kazunori Furuta, who won the role of Ryoma Echizen, the 8th leader of Aogaku in the same musical, and Ko Takano, who was chosen to play Ichigo Kurosaki in "ROCK MUSICAL BLEACH" - Another Earth. The show will be performed at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from December 9 to 18.
