Musical "Sword Dance" in Itsukushima Shrine will be performed for one night only! Dedication event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the World Heritage registration

A special performance of the musical "Sword Dance" has been announced.



Sword Ranbu" is asword training simulation game in which players take on the role of the master of "swordmen," famous swordsmen from history that have been transformed into warrior figures, and organize a "Shirahada-tai" to defeat the enemy. The "Sword Dance" musical has gained explosive popularity, especially among female audiences, with its unique and attractive male characters and relationships based on historical facts. A new performance will be held in September, and "Musical 'Sword Dance' LIVE" will be held in December.


Now, "Musical 'Sword Dance' in Itsukushima Shrine" will be performed for one night only on November 12. The event will be held as a dedication event for the 20th anniversary of Itsukushima Shrine's registration as a UNESCO World Heritage site in Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture, and will feature six cast members from the Azukashiyama Ibun performance and five new cast members from the new performance. The special live performance by 11 swordsmiths on the stage of a national treasure is sure to be a historic moment for "Sword MU".
