New illustrations of Natsume and Nyanko-sensei for the fall anime "Natsume's Book of Friends: The Five" are revealed!　Collaboration cafe will be held!

TV anime "Natsume Yuujinchou: Natsume's Book of Friends" will start airing in October on TV Tokyo and other stations.



The first season of "Natsume's Book of Friends," based on the manga series published in the monthly LaLa magazine by Yuki Midorikawa, aired in July 2008 and gained popularity with its heartwarming story of interaction with youkai and characters such as Natsume played by Hiroshi Kamiya and Nyanko sensei played by Kazuhiko Inoue. The fifth season of "Natsume's Book of Friends: The Corporal" is directed by Takahiro Omori, who has directed the previous TV series; the director is Kotomi Ideai, who directed the OVA "Natsume's Book of Friends: Someday Yuki no Hi ni"; series composition is by Sadayuki Murai, who has worked on the series since the third season; and animation production is by Shunatsu, who produced "Durarara! ×x2".

New illustrations depicting Takashi Natsume and Nyanko-sensei have been released, and a collaboration café will be held at Animate Cafe Shop Kyoto from October 1 to 30, Animate Cafe Shop Ikebukuro and Shinjuku from November 1 to 29, Animax CAFE Akihabara from October 12, and Sega Ikebukuro GiGO Limited 7th floor from November 3 to 30. The collaboration café will also be held on the 7th floor.
