An interview with Yurika Kubo from the summer anime "Regalia" has arrived!　I was convinced that Yui and I would be able to play sister roles well together.

An official interview with Yurika Kubo, who plays Sara, from the TV anime "Regalia The Three Sacred Stars" currently airing has arrived.



The original anime "Regalia The Three Sacred Stars" is a bishojo x mecha action work by Actus of "Girls und Panzer" fame. The main characters are sisters Yui and Rena, who lead a peaceful life, and the work depicts their destiny and powerful battles over the giant humanoid mecha "Regalia".Directed by Susumu Tosaka of "IS <Infinite Stratos> 2",series composition by Keigo Koyanagi of "GO! GO! 575",character design by QP:flapper of the game "Girl Friend (Kari)", and character design by Kimikazu Nishio of "Moetan".

─ Please tell us about the character you are playing.

When I first received the materials, my impression was that she was much younger than I had expected. Sarah is the older sister and Tia is the younger sister, but there is not much that is sisterly about them (laughs). (Laughs.) This was true both when I read the script and when I actually directed the recording session. I think that is what Sara and Tia are like.

─ Was it difficult to create the roles?

Yes, it was. In the first episode, I didn't really have any lines. (laughs). (Laughs.) I think many actors, including myself, create their characters in the first episode. But Yui (Ogura), who plays Tia, and I were like, "What should we do? (laughs). (Laughs.) I can understand if you have a base for the voice and the role, and then you say, "Delicious! I could understand if it was "Delicious!", but it was difficult to know what line to take when creating a role with only that.

─ ─ But when I saw the video, I felt that you were in perfect sync with each other.

That may be true. Actually, in the first episode, we created a unison between the two of us without any meetings, but I was convinced that we would be able to play the role of sisters well with Yui.

─ ─ Do you have a message for the fans who are looking forward to what is to come?

Like everyone else, we are recording the show without really knowing what will happen in the future. But without a doubt, each episode is a story that will leave a lasting impression. The gap between a cute girl fighting in regalia gear is a great hook for the work, and we are also curious about the future of Rena and Yui. I would be happy if I could enjoy the work together with you all.
