TV anime "Bungo Stray Dogs" collaborates with Aomori's representative summer festival! Character Neputa to be operated

From the TV anime "Bungo Stray Dogs," a collaboration with "Goshogawara Tachineputa" in Aomori Prefecture has been announced.

Bungo Stray Dogs" is an anime work based on the manga series by Kafka Asagiri and 35 Harukawa, serialized in Young Ace. The anime has attracted attention for its bold setting in which famous literary giants such as Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, and Kunikida Doppo are made into characters and battle each other using different powers. Directed by Takuya Igarashi, series composition and script by Yoji Enokido, music by Taku Iwasaki, and animation production by Vons, the 13th and later episodes will be broadcast from October.

The production, operation, and exhibition of the character neputa will be held at the Aomori Prefecture summer festival "Goshogawara Tachineputa" from August 4 to 8. SD illustrations drawn for the collaboration have been released. The neputa will be approximately 2.5m wide x 1.4m deep x 2.5m high (not including the cart), and will be operated as a "mae neputa," which will lead the way in front of the larger neputa.

The "Haneto" and "Musical Band" will not be able to participate in the festival. It is possible to participate in Tachineputa, but please note that there is a rule that participants must be in formal attire. For inquiries, please contact Goshogawara Tourist Association (0173-38-1515).
