Autumn Anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Shonen tanteidan" -" reveals new key visual!　Daisuke Ono as Kogoro Akechi

A new key visual and additional cast members for the TV anime "TRICKSTER - from Edogawa Rampo's "Shonen Tanteidan" -"which will start in October havebeen announced.



TRICKSTER" is an original anime based on Edogawa Rampo's novel "Shonen tanteidan" and set in the near future. Set in Tokyo in the year 203X, the film depicts the encounter between Kobayashi and Hanazaki, and the fate of the mysterious detective Akechi Kogoro and the criminal of the century, the Phantom with Twenty Faces (Kaijin Nijumenso).Directed byMasahiro Mukai of"Hyperdimension Neptunia," series composition and script by ErikaYoshidaof "TIGER & BUNNY" script ,character design by PEACH-PIT of "Rozen Maiden," and animation production by TMS Entertainment and Shin-Ei Animation.

A new key visual , newly drawn byPEACH-PIT, has been unveiled. The additional cast includes Daisuke Ono as the legendary detective Kogoro Akechi, Takuya Masumoto as Masaharu Katsuta, a former member of the Detective Boys, Shin Furukawa as Hisashi Otomo, a member of the Science Experiment Club who invents the Detective Boys' seven tools, and Shosei Yamatani as Tasuku Yamane, a member of the Science Experiment Club who is always being teased by Otomo. In addition, Azusa Tadokoro's "1HOPE SNIPER" will be used as the ending theme song.

The program will air on TOKYO MXevery Monday from25:05 onOctober3, on Yomiuri TVevery Monday from25:59onOctober3, andon BS11every Tuesday from25:30 onOctober4. Incidentally, today, July28, is the anniversary of Edogawa Rampo's death.
