Stage "Osomatsu-san" Production Press Conference Report! The handsome six "F6" children will appear on stage, and the cast and key visuals have been unveiled.

A report from the production press conference has arrived from the stage "Osomatsu-san on STAGE ~SIX MEN'S SHOW TIME~".

The stage version of "Osomatsu-san on STAGE ~SIX MEN'S SHOW TIME~" is a stage version of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," which became an explosive hit when it aired from October 2015 to March 2016. The performances will be held in Osaka from September 29 to October 3 and in Tokyo from October 13 to October 23.

With two months to go before the performances, a press conference was held with the six cast members (Shota Takasaki as Osomatsu, Yusuke Kashiwagi as Karamatsu, Keisuke Ueda as Choromatsu, Ryo Kitamura as Ichimatsu, Ren Ozawa as Jyushimatsu, and Ryotaro Akazawa as Todomatsu) and costumed characters.

At the end of the press conference, it was announced that there will be an additional performance in Tokyo on October 19, and that the Tokyo performance will be viewed live at about 60 theaters nationwide. The cast includes Yuki Izawa as Osomatsu, Masanari Wada as Karamatsu, Kento Ono as Choromatsu, Yuya Asato as Ichimatsu, Shinichi Wago as Jyushimatsu, and Yuki Nakayama as Todomatsu.

Below is the report.

How did you feel when you were chosen to appear in the film?
Akazawa: The whole family was surprised, including myself.
Ozawa: I am grateful to be involved in a work so popular that it has become a social phenomenon, but at the same time I feel a little pressure, but I will do my best to live up to everyone's expectations.
Kitamura: I am happy to be involved in a work that I also watched, and I hope to have fun while joking around.
Ueda: I'm the only one who plays the role of a comedian, so when I saw the lineup of this cast, I knew I'd be busy (laughs). I would like to practice hard so that I can show my loose worldview properly in rehearsals.
Kashiwagi: I am full of surprise, happiness, and pressure, but I will do my best from now on.
Takasaki: I wondered if this work is suitable for the stage. I am looking forward to seeing how this loose, gag-filled work will be adapted for the stage. I am relieved that Ueda-san is there (laughs), but I will do my best to be attentive as the eldest son.

What do you think is the charm of the six children?
Ueda: I think the charm of the six children lies in their strong personalities and their "no-goodness" and "cuteness" that makes you want to feed them.
Kitamura: I think it is wonderful that we can see the bond and sense of unity that is typical of the six children.
Ozawa: I think it's interesting that each of the six children has a distinct personality.
Akazawa: They have a strong sense of rivalry, but somehow they are still good friends. I think they are the most beloved sextuplets in Japan.
Takasaki: The strength of the six members is when they are united in their individuality.
Kashiwagi: The balance of the six children is surprisingly good, and although each one of them is outstanding, I think it's wonderful that you can feel their love for each other.

What about the characters you are interested in?
Takasaki: I like Totoko-chan. I am looking forward to working with Totoko, so please cast me! (Laughs)
Ueda:Iyami is great because he has the old gag that has been around since the Showa period, "Shae! Ueda:I think it's great that Iyami has the old gag that has been around since the Showa period, "Shae!
Ozawa:I'm interested in "Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. I feel sympathy for him because he keeps his mouth open, just like my character.

What do you want people to pay attention to in the performance?
Kashiwagi: I think it would not be interesting if we do a loose work loosely, so we will practice with a lot of heat, so the highlight will be the heat!
Kitamura: We have a strong sense of unity when we talk together, so I hope we can bring that to the stage. I will do my best to be aggressive.
Akazawa: I think it will be a work that can be seen without thinking about anything. I hope that people will stop by with a pure heart when they are having a bad day or when they feel like laughing.

Finally, I would like to say a few words.
Takasaki: Since this is a stage adaptation of a very popular work, there is no small amount of pressure, but I would like to make it exciting together with F6, so please give me your support.
Kashiwagi: We want to put all our passion into making this a wonderful work, so please come to the theater and enjoy it.
Ueda:I feel like we are finally starting to move forward. I will do my best to deliver entertainment to everyone from here on out.
Kitamura: We will do our best to live up to the even higher expectations of everyone who is looking forward to our work.
Ozawa: In our own way, we will turn your support into strength and together with Jyushimatsu, we will say "Ganbari - Muscle Muscle Muscle, Hustle Hustle! Hustle hustle hustle!" Hustle Hustle Hustle Hustle Hustle Hustle Hustle!
Akazawa: I want to be firmly in character (like Todomatsu) and look down on everyone, and also make it a work of love.
