Autumn Anime "Time Bokan 24" Announces Main Cast!　Akihisa Wakayama, Akari Kito, Eri Kitamura, Hiroaki Hirata, Kenta Miyake, etc.

The main cast of the TV anime "Time Bokan 24," which will start in October, has been announced.



Time Bokan 24" is the latest in the "Time Bokan" TV animation series that aired from 1975 to 1976. It is said to be a completely new series that respects the first series while completely renewing its content. The director is Takayuki Inagaki of "Jewelpet Sunshine," series composition by Yoichi Kato of "Yokai Watch," creative producer Akihiro Hino of Level-5, mechanical design by Kunio Okawara of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, planning cooperation and character and mechanical drafting by Level-5, and production by YTV and Tatsunoko Productions.

The main cast has now been unveiled. Akihisa Wakayama and Akari Kito have been chosen to play the main roles of Tokio and Karen, respectively, with Eri Kitamura as Bimajo, Hiroaki Hirata as Tsubuyakki, and Kenta Miyake as Suzukki, the three who starred in "Yoru no Yatterman" broadcast from January to March 2015. In addition, Peralino will be played by Tsuyoshi Maeda, Pikobo/Bokan Breath by Rikako Aikawa, and Oyadama by impersonator Hori. Bocanare is played by Shigeru Chiba.

How did you feel when you got the part?
When I got the call that I had been cast, I was so happy that I was at a loss for words.
It was my first audition and I passed, and since it was for the main character, itwas hard to believe that itwas me.It's a bit of a cliché, but I pinched my cheeks to see if it was real or not (laughs).
How are you feeling about the broadcast?
I am very nervous about being the main character for the first time, but I will do my best to make as many people as possible love Tokio and "Time Bokan 24".

How did you feel when you were chosen for the role?
I didn't think I would get the part, so at first I was more skeptical than happy, wondering if I made a mistake. I was more skeptical than happy at first. After that, I found out that I really got the part, and I was filled with the feeling that I had to do my best.
How enthusiastic are you about the broadcast?
I am very happy to be involved in such a big production, but at the same time I feel a lot of pressure. I will do my best to contribute as much as I can to make it a work that will be loved by many people.
