Kambundo, a long-established stationery store next to Sofmap Akihabara Main Building, is having a closing sale.

Located alongside Sofmap Akihabara Main Building, next to McDonald's Akihabara Sofmap store.

The retail sales (over-the-counter) will cease as of July 20 (Wed.). Office furniture, office supplies, office equipment, rubber stamps, printing, interior work, etc. (for corporate customers?) (for corporate customers?) will continue to operate on the second floor.




Kambundo" is a long-established stationery store established in 1924.

In 2005, the former Yamagiwa Tokyo Main Store (now Sofmap Akihabara Main Building) and the former McDonald's Akihabara Yamagiwa Store (now McDonald's Akihabara Sofmap Store) were demolished in the rezoning that accompanied the widening of Kanda Myojin Street. In 2007, Sofmap leased the Ichikawa-Kanbundo-Yamagiwa Joint Building, which was built on the site of the former Yamagiwa Tokyo Main Building, and opened the Sofmap Akihabara Main Building.

 The new store had begun operations along with the "McDonald's Akihabara Sofmap Store .

The store is currently conducting a closing sale, but the specific closing date is unknown (as of July 8, 2016).
