The TV animation "Dayan the Cat Fushigi Gekijo" will start in October.



Dayan the Cat" is a cat that lives in the mysterious land of "Wachifild," created by picture book author Akiko Ikeda. There are more than 100 picture books and art books depicting the daily life and adventures of "Dayan the Cat." The first 5-minute TV animation series was broadcast in April 2014, and the second series, "Dayan the Cat Goes to Japan," was broadcast in October 2015.

This time, the TV animation "Fushigi Gekijo (Cat no Dayan)" will be broadcast from October. It is a short animation shown in a theater style, and when the curtain opens, the slightly funny daily life in the town of Tasil unfolds. The animation is produced by Kachidoki Studio and directed by Hazumu Sakuta. Sumi Shimamoto will play the role of Dayan, Emi Hirayama will play the role of Jitan, Ayana Taketatsu will play the role of Mercy, and Neeko will play the roles of the three witches.
