Autumn Anime "Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru-", Illustration of Heshikiri Hasebe Unveiled! Special Bamboo Fans & Stickers Presented at Comiket!

A character illustration of Heshikiri Hasebe from the TV anime "Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru," which will start in October, has been revealed.



Since its service launch on January 14, 2015,"ToukenRanbu"hasexploded in popularity, especially among women, with its unique and attractive male characters and relationships based on historical facts. The TV anime "Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru" is directed by Takashi Naotani (first-time director of a TV anime series), with character design by Junichiro Taniguchi, series composition and script by Pierre Sugiura, and production by Animation Studio. In addition, "Sword Dance (tentative title)," produced by ufotable, is scheduled to be broadcast by the end of 2017.


An animated character illustration of Heshikiri Hasebe, a battering ram whose name was derived from the fact that Nobunaga Oda crushed an entire shelf of tea bowls, has been unveiled. The character's actor, Tarsuke Aragaki, expressed his enthusiasm for the anime adaptation.

In addition, at the "d-Anime Store" booth at Comic Market 90 to be held at Tokyo Big Sight fromAugust12 to 13, a special bamboo fan and sticker giveaway campaign will be held for members.
