Gauge", a measuring instrument bar for "adults" who love measuring instruments, will open tomorrow, Friday the 22nd.

It will be located on the first floor of the Measuring Instrument Land Building near Shoheibashi Bridge, next to "Animate AKIBA Girls Station," which opened last weekend.

Gauge is a bar with the theme of measuring instruments, operated by Toyo Measuring Instruments, a general trading company of measuring instruments.

About 50 vintage measuring instruments, including a Western Electric tester that once existed in the U.S., are on display in the bar, and customers can "enjoy delicious food and pleasant music while surrounded by vintage measuring instruments.

Drinks include more than 40 kinds of whiskey, beer, wine, and sake. Food is mainly Japanese cuisine, but the restaurant also offers creative dishes such as beef stew. There are also 5,000 music selections, including jazz.
