TV Anime "Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON" Announces Additional Cast Members!　Tomokazu Sugita, Nana Mizuki, Junichi Yanagida

Three additional characters/cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON," which will start in October.



The "Monster Hunter" series is Capcom's hunting action game in which players face off against giant monsters in a magnificent natural setting. The series has grown into a mega-hit series with cumulative sales of 36 million units (as of March 31, 2016), thanks to the establishment of a new communication style of "cooperating with friends to challenge powerful monsters" through communication and cooperative play. The first RPG in the series, "Monster Hunter Stories," is scheduled for release on October 8 for the Nintendo 3DS, and will retain the worldview of the series, starring "Monster Riders," who form bonds with monsters and live together.

The anime visuals and cast of three new characters have now been unveiled. Tomokazu Sugita plays Rivelt, a hunter with excellent hunting skills; Nana Mizuki plays Simone, the young leader of the research team; and Junichi Yanagida plays Dan, a hot-blooded senior who gives advice to the main character. Mizuki and Yanagida are original anime cast members.
