Novartis has released "MaBeee," a battery-powered IoT device that enables smartphone control of battery-powered devices.
MaBeee" is a Bluetooth 4.1 compatible AA battery type device that can be mounted on a battery-powered device to control the output of the dry cell batteries, enabling remote control using a smartphone.
By inserting an AAA battery into the "MaBeee" itself, which is the size of an AA battery, and mounting it on a device that you want to remotely control with a smartphone, you can control the start/stop operation and speed-up of a toy train that normally just keeps running when you turn it on. This is a device that can be remotely controlled by a smartphone.
