Visuals of new characters and cast comments have been released from theanime film"Digimon Adventure tri. 3: Confessions" tobe released on September 24.



Digimon Adventure tri." is the latest anime film in the Digimon series, a sequel to the first "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the story is about the "chosen children" (Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mitsuro Izumi, Mimi Tachigawa, Takeshi Kido, Takeru Takaishi, and Hikari Yagami), including Taichi Yagami, who is now a high school student. The film depicts the story of the characters after they grew up, in a total of six chapters. The film is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki. The cast has been renewed to reflect the growth of the children, but the original cast of partner digimon continue to be cast. The theme song is also a newly recorded version of an existing song.


The visual of Hackmon, a mysterious new character who has appeared in parts since the first chapter, has been unveiled. Shunsuke Takeuchi, who plays Hackmon, has also commented on the character.

How did you feel when you were chosen to appear in "Digimon Adventure tri.
I watched "Digimon Sabers" as a child, so I was very happy and surprised to be chosen to play a role in the Digimon series. The Hackmon I will be playing this time is a Digimon that is deeply related to the ultimate Digimon group called "Royal Knights" in the "Sabers" series, so its function in "Digimon tri. At the same time, I felt very responsible.

After the post-recording
Hackmon looks cute at first, so I was worried at first whether my voice would match his cute appearance, but he is a calm Digimon who is working for a certain purpose, so I was able to play him naturally. Hackmon appears for a moment in Chapters 1 and 2, but in the scene in Chapter 3, there are lines that show the importance of Hackmon's existence throughout the work and the fact that he is in a different position from the main characters. The sound director instructed me to do so, but I was conscious of the wandering feeling of the scene, as if I was looking at things from a bird's eye view.
