GARUPAN the Movie grosses over 2.3 billion yen in total box-office revenue!　Long-run screenings for a year are confirmed.

The anime film "Girls und Panzer: The Movie" has been in theaters since November 2015, and as ofAugust20, its 40thweek ofrelease, it has surpassed the 2.3 billion yen mark in total box office revenue.



Girls und Panzer" is an original anime directed by Tsutomu Mizushima that depicts adolescence with the theme of beautiful girls and tanks. The realistic tanks and many beautiful girl characters have been highly acclaimed by anime fans and military fans alike.


The film will be screened at atotal of15theaters, includingfournewtheaters, from August 27, the 41st week of its run. Among them, AEON CINEMA Kohoku New Town, AEON CINEMA Makuhari Shintoshin, AEON CINEMA Kasukabe, and AEON CINEMA Nagoya Chaya will screen the film until November 22, 2016, making it a long run of over one year. This is a good chance for fans and those who have not yet seen the film to visit the theaters.
