Animation film "In a Corner of the World", the trailer is released! Music by Kotoringo!

The trailer for the anime film "In a Corner of the World," which will be released on November 12, has been released.

The film is based on Fumiyo Kono's manga serialized in Manga Action magazine. The film depicts the lives of people in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture, from 1944 to 1945, as Suzu, a young girl who married at the age of 18, and depicts the lives that were taken for granted even during the war. The film is directed by Sunao Katabuchi, director of "Mai Mai Shinko and the Magic of a Thousand Years," who spent six years meticulously researching Kure during and after World War II and researching the period.

In the trailer released this time, Suzu can be seen enjoying her life with her ingenuity while living next to the battleship Yamato and fighter planes stationed in the military port of Kure. The music will also be composed by singer-songwriter Kotoringo, who also wrote the theme song for "Mai Mai Shinko to Sennen no Mahou" . He will sing a magnificent song about the world of this work.

Comment from Kotringo

When I received the offer, I was both happy and determined to keep up with Director Katabuchi's meticulous work.
I was drawn into the original work in a very strange way. It was a little different from the war-era stories I had read before because it carefully described the ordinary lives of ordinary people in that era, and the main character Suzu's warm and friendly atmosphere made me feel close to her. I rearranged the cover of "Sad and Unfulfilled," which was used in the trailer because I thought it fit Suzu's sentiments so well, and rewrote it with live instruments so that I could be closer to her.
