MSI has released the GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 3G, a GeForce GTX 1060 video card with 3GB of GDDR5 video memory.




The 3GB version of the GeForce GTX 1060 is a lower-priced model of the 6GB version of the GeForce GTX 1060 video card that is already on the market, with "half the memory capacity" and "the number of CUDA cores cut from 1280 to 1152" compared to the 6GB version, but other specifications are the same. The other specifications are the same, making it the most cost-effective of the two GTX 1060 models.

The GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 3G features the original "TWIN FROZR VI" cooler with a quasi-fanless "ZERO FROZR" mechanism that stops the fan when the load is low (0 to 60°C).
