The animated film "Poppin Q" unveils a little bit of the "Valley of Time"! The mysterious world where the heroines get lost

Key scenes from the story have been released from the animated film "Poppin Q," which will be released in January 2017.

Poppin Q" is an original theatrical animation produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Toei Animation.Thefilmdepicts five adolescent girls who are suddenly charged with the mission of saving the world from a crisis, and how they grow up through dance as a means to achieve their goal.Directed by Naoki Miyahara of "Dragon Ball Z" and "Pretty Cure All Stars DX 3D Theater," with original character design by Kohaku Kuroboshi of "Kino's Journey" series and character design and chief animation director Takayuki Uragami of "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Tools Museum".

The story begins when the heroines pick up a "piece of time" and through its power wander into the "Valley of Time," an other-dimensional world that is connected to the time axis of all worlds. The heroines are informed by a young girl in school uniform standing alone in the mysterious world, the beautifully shining "piece of time," and a Poppin elder they meet in the "Valley of Time. The release of scene cuts of these important scenes has only heightened the anticipation for the film.

Matsui, who plans and produces the film, said, "As hinted in the teaser visual drawn by Mr. Kuroboshi, the story is about realistic 15-year-old girls living in the modern world who undergo changes when they take a side trip to a fantasy world. Please look forward to the growth and change of the heroines that will be fostered by the "special time" of time, a moment of youth, and a time that will never return," said producer Kanemaru. The 'real world' is based on an actual place and is rich in adolescent color. In contrast, "The Valley of Time" is the result of a large number of image boards drawn by Director Miyahara and the creative efforts of Mr. Sakamoto, the art set designer. We hope you enjoy these two worlds.
